Our credit union was founded in 1945 by employees of Koppers Company, as a benefit available to all employees.
Over the years we have endeavored to increase the services available in this employee benefit. We strive to provide the best service possible. We have three full-time employees, and are governed by five volunteer board members.
We are federally chartered to serve employees of NOVA Chemicals, Inc., Applied Energy Services (AES), BASF, Paris Contracting, Cabinet World and Union Building and Loan Savings Bank, as well as family members of these employees.
NABCO Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, and not-for profit organization.
Our primary purpose is to promote thrift and provide financial services at fair and competitive rates to all members equally, while always maintaining our financial stability.
Our Credit Union will maintain a constant awareness and openness to future programs and policies to meet the changing needs of our members, as well as the members of future generations, while keeping in mind the Credit Union philosophy and concept:
